to the best of my knowledge ,sri dhanwanthari was not a siddhar but the surgeon and ayrveda doctor of deva ganas.Dhanvanthari is the physician of gods, who appeared at the churning of the ocean, is worshipped on this day, special by the physician community. He is the father of Indian science Medicine and Ayurveda is attributed to him.
Apart form being a great and first surgeon , he had mastered herbal cures.

Dhanvantari was an early Indian medical practitioner and one of the world’s first surgeons. Based on Vedic traditions, he is regarded as the source of Ayurveda. He perfected many herbal based cures and natural remedies and was credited with the discovery of the antiseptic properties of turmeric and the preservative properties of salt which he incorporated in his cures.
Being a very skilled surgeon according to the standards of his time, he is widely believed to be the pioneer of modern medical practices like plastic surgery[1]. Albeit his methods were a lot cruder and more painful and were used only in emergencies, such as on the injuries of war victims.
All his surgeries were performed without anesthetic, however in spite of his crude methods he was reported to have had a very high success rate. As a result of the brilliance and achievements he displayed in the field of medicine he was chosen as one of the Nine Gems in early Indian ruler Vikramaditya’s court.???
According to traditions, he taught surgery methods and procedures to Susrutha, the Father of Ayurvedic Surgery.

A copper pipe, about Seven inches diameter, has been placed at the centre of the hole and about 54 Crore mantras have been tightly packed around this pipe. This copper pipe serves as carrier of the vibrations that are constantly reverberating from the strength of the mantras and spreads the energy. Danvantri Arogya Peedam, being a universal place of healing and Lord Danvantri Himself being the Doctor of Medicines, God of Health and Doctor of Doctors, there is no limitations or contradictions based on the perspective of religion, caste, creed at all.The purpose of placing the mantras beneath the peedam and idol, is the collective Powers of each these personal faiths brings forth an effect of profuse magnitude And strength. Moreover, Danvantri Arogya Peedam never restricts any people from other Religions like Christians, muslims, etc.,. from entering into the temple.
