Nikumbala yaagam held at Peedam on June 1
A special Nikumbala yaagam
was held at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, for the benefit of mankind
from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 1, 2013, Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr
Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said.
The Nikumbala yagam was
conducted in view of Thaeypirai Ashtami.
Participation in the yaagam
would rid one of confusion in the mind, obstacles in the path of business, debt
problem, billi-soonyam curse, and any ill-effects due to the planetary
influence of Shani, and obstacles due to influence of Rahu-Kethu, and to seek
rains and good harvest for farmers, and acquisition of assets like house, land,
Sri Muralidhara Swamigal had said.
In the yaagam, over 500 kgs of
chillies and spices, honey, ghee besides over 100 fruits and flowers were
offered.
Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said
devotees who took part in the yaagam, the special abdhishekam, special joint
prayer and annadhanam, were blessed as they would have received the benefits of
the Nikumbala yaagam.
A large number of devotees had
travelled from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and various parts of Tamil Nadu to
participate in the yaagam. At the end of the Nikumbala yaagam, devotees
participated in the special abhishekam for Sri Mahisasuramardhini and in the
joint prayer for world peace.
On June 2, special
mandalabhishekam was performed for the deities of Saraswathi Devi, Sri Coorma
Lakshmi Narasimhar and Rahu-Kethu at the Peedam.
