Navasandi homam will be performed at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, from 10 a.m. with the help of 20 Vedic experts in the interest of mankind, in the presence of Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
This is being performed in view of Valarpirai Ashtami on June 16th.
Over 300 types of herbs and over 100 varieties of fruits besides chillies, salt, sweets, navaratnas and over 100 types of silk cloth, would be offered during the homam, Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said.
Those who take part in the homam would get relief from billi-soonyam and debts, help overcome fear of death, while the decks would be cleared to buy property and finalise marriage proposals, besides overcoming pithru dosham, koo dosham and guru shaapam and benefit from long, married life.
Sumangali pooja, kanya pooja, vadugu pooja and couples’ pooja would also be performed on the occasion.
Sri Muralidhara Swamigal has appealed to devotees to contribute liberally for the successful conduct of the homam, abhishekams and the other poojas at the Peedam.
