Drishti
Durga homam at Danvantri Peedam
The
Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, Vellore district, has already made a
name for itself by performing homams that greatly benefit the devotees.
On
Friday, August 09, 2013, under the guidance of peedam founder, Sri Muralidhara
Swamigal, there will be a Drishti Durga homam.
According
to a note from the peedam, 108 pumpkins, 108 red cloths, 108 dry coconuts, 108
lemons, 108 herbs, 108 kg neem oil, 108 packets of red chillies, 108 murams
(winnows), 108 packets of turmeric, 108 packets of kumkum and 108 each of a
variety of fruits and sweets.
These
would be offered by the devotees themselves during the homam.
The
homam would be performed in the presence of Dr.Rangarajan, Chennai.
Sri
Muralidhara Swamigal informs that the homam would release one from negative
forces (drishti) and ensure an ailment-free life with the blessings of Goddess
Durga.
“I
invite the devotees to participate in the homam and get blessed for a disease-
and disorder-free life,” adds the swamigal.
