The Sri Danvantri Arogya peedam, Walajapet, will perform a rare Kodi Naama Jabam at the Peedam from July 15, 2013. The Jabam may continue to be held in other States as well, said Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
Normally, in temples, Ashtothiram (108) or Sahasranaamam (1008) are performed. On some occasions, Laktcha Naama jabam are also held. However, it is rare to come across a Kodi Naama Jabam. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, who has many firsts to his credit like the ‘365 days 365 Yaagam’ successfully completed recently, has decided to perform the Kodi Naama Jabam for world peace, to help the people overcome distress and disease, and to lead lives of peace and prosperity, defeating various drishtis and doshaas.
The Jabam will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Peedam, Sri Muralidhara Swamigal. Later, the Jabam would not be held just in Tamil Nadu but also in other States.
The Jabam would also seen an end to terrorism which plagues the world and the problems caused by drought on one hand and floods on the other.
