Special homam to improve Indian economy at Peedam

A special homam was conducted at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, to revive the Indian economy and to prevent fall in value of Indian rupee against the dollar, on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

The Sri Kartha Veeryajunar homam and 27 Star Homam was held to strengthen the Indian economy, Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said.

A special abhishekam and archana were conducted for Sri Kartha Veeryajunar, who restores lost goods and wealth.

A joint prayer was also held for the purpose at 11 a.m.

The homam and abhishekam were conducted as there was all-round concern over the fall in Rupee value against the dollar, the rising current account deficit and lack of confidence among investors. The homam was intended to restore confidence among investors and in the economy.
