Lord Sathyanarayana is another form of Lord Vishnu. He has four hands like Lord Vishnu, however, his fourth hand does not hold a lotus rather it is extended upward to bless people. The worship is performed usually on a Full Moon (purnima) day of the month. Sri Sathya Narayana Puja performed by Hindus before or on any major occasions like marriage, house warming ceremony.
