Sumangali
pooja with 1008 sumangalis on Jan 30

1008 Sumangalis will participate in the special Sumangali pooja to be held at
Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, on January 30, 2015.
Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri
Muralidhara Swamigal said the Sumangalis who will participate in the pooja
would be provided tamboolam by the Peedam including saree, blouse piece, betel
leaves and nuts, kumkum, turmeric, mirror and
comb among other items on behalf of the Peedam.
Sri Suktha homam would be conducted along with
Garba Rakshambigai yaagam. The participants will also worship before the
deities of the Peedam and pray for well-being of their families. The
sumangali pooja would be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015.
The devotees will also take part in a joint
prayer for well-being of mankind.
Women will derive dheergasumangali bhaagyam
and benefit of progeny besides improvement in family ties.
