Santhana Gopala Yaagam held on July 20

The Sri Santhana Gopala Yaagam was performed at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

Those who sought to be blessed with a child participated in this yaagam. Many couples attended the yaagam to seek such a blessing. The homam was performed from 10 a.m. in the presence of Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.

The Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said the couples experienced the joy of watching the idol of young Sri Navaneethakrishnan on a swing. Couples took turns in pushing the swing as if putting  Sri Navaneethakrishna to sleep. They were offered prasadam.

The homam helps get rid of various ill-effects from planets or in one’s horoscope, and enable couples to get a child, says Muralidhara Swamigal

A special butter abhishekam was also performed.
