Walajapet: Special Thailabhishekam would be performed for Moolavar Sri Danvantri at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, from November 28, 2014, to December 14, 2014, Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal has announced.
The 11th year Thailabhishekam function would be performed for the 8-foot-high Moolavar idol from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. every day from Nov 28 to Dec 14.
Sri Danvantri is an incarnation of Sri Mahavishnu. Praying to him would help rid one of all diseases as He is the deliverer of good health.
Various doshams and dhristis would be eliminated once the Thailabhishekam is performed for Sri Danvantri, and the devotees who participate in this function would derive the blessings of Sri Danvantri, Sri Muralidhara Swamigal said.
