Walajapet: A special Ashta Bairavar homam would be held on October 16, 2014, at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, for the welfare of over 13,000 Nokia employees who face loss of their jobs at the Sriperumbudur plant from November 1.

Over 20,000 workers of the Nokia plant are affected by the decision of cell phone manufacturers, Nokia, to close down their plant at Sriperumbudur.
