conducting Sri Bhuvaneswari Homam, Putrakameshti Homam, Mangalya Prapthi Homam
on the occasion of Pournami 16.07.2019 Tuesday at 10.00 AM to 12.00
PM at our Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet.
Bhuvaneswari Homam :
Bhuvaneswari is the Queen of the
phenomenal world and is one of the Dasa Maha Vidyas and is fourth in the line. Bhuvaneswari is
mainly associated with the earth and the physical world. She is depicted as the
Sovereign, the mistress of the worlds. Goddess Bhuvaneswari is one of the ten
aspects of Shakthi. She also stands for the universal energy and plays a key
role in protecting people from various problems. Bhuvaneswari Devi is considered as the supreme
goddesses who creates everything and destroys all the unnecessary evils of
world. Goddess Bhuvaneswari is the Universal Mother and Ruler of the Universe. She
resides in the Manidveepam – a fort. She has four hands, two of which bless the
devotees while the other two holds the noose to draw the devotee closer to her
and angusam to rid the devotee of their sufferings.
Performing Bhuvaneswari Homam helps
to overcome sorrows and other problems in life. This homam bring peace, health,
wealth and prosperity in a home. It also provides methods for recovering from
the sins in an effective manner by addressing exact needs and bestows

Putrakameshti Yagam :
Putrakameshti Yagam performed for
being blessed by a child. Putrakameshti Homam is a kaamya-karma which means
those rituals or karmas which are conducted with a specific purpose.It is
performed by childless couples who have long tried for child and now have taken
the recourse to surrender to the Lord Vishnu the Supreme Creator and Preserver
of this universe. The main deity of worship in this homam is Lord Vishnu, and
it is done by reciting the Purusha Suktam. When this homam is performed
according to the instruction of the Yajurveda Veda, it results in the fruit of
begetting children redeeming the couples from all their inherent doshas. This
then results in a vibrant and healthy progeny with the blessings of the
Narayana.
