The homam is
being performed for the welfare of devotees who have visited the peedam,
written their queries/problems and dropped them in the prayer box. The
prarthana box will be opened in front of the devotees and sankalpam will be
performed for all the letters and also for global welfare, well-being of
mankind, good rains, peace and the linking of Indian rivers.
Swamigal
will be doing what he has been made him stand out among other gurus - mass
prayer. On Wednesday, May 14, 2014, Chitra Pournami, he would be leading the
community/mass prayer for the well-being of the people who come for succor to
the peedam and for a disease- and disorder-free life for all his disciples.
The swamigal

receive the blessings of the presiding deities, saints and swamigal at
Danvantri Peedam.
The other
reason why people should visit the peedam on Chitra Pournami day is that the
swamigal has just returned from a mega tour of the northern Sakthi peetams and
ancient temples of the Himalayas. He would be distributing the prasadam from
the homams he conducted in these religious sites, theertham drawn from the
major rivers and tanks and homa raksha (sacred thread), on the day.
