The Peetadhipathi of Prathyankara Peedam, Sapthagiri Amma, visited Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, on January 28, 2014. He was received with traditional honour including Poornakumbha honour by Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal and members of his family.
Sapthagiri Amma went round the Peedam and offered worship before the 69 idols at the Peedam including Moolavar Sri Danvantri.
He also had a look at the spot where the Prathaynakara homam was conducted with 6,000 red chillies at the yaagakundam next to the Peedam complex. He was also informed by Sri Muralidhara Swamigal that the yaagakundam spot would be developed as a Maha Peedam where a 27-foot Aishwarya Prathyankara Devi idol would be installed.
He received the blessings of Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
