A joint prayer was held for benefit of mankind and especially for students and teachers at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet. The Peedam has been founded by Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
A number of students from various schools participated in the programme.
The prayer was held in the presence of Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
The joint prayer aimed at benefiting students who will shortly take their annual/board examinations and to help improve their learning skills and memory power, and to help them good marks in the examinations.
The prayer was held in front of Lakshmi Hayagrivar, Saraswathy and 468 Siddhar idols at the Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam.
Later, a special Danvantri and Sakala Devatha homam were conducted in which Tmt V Ambika Sathyanarayanan, wife of Madras High Court Judge, M Sathyanarayanan, also participated.
