A special Lakshmi Narasimhar homam was performed on Vaikunta Ekadasi day at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam,
Walajapet, on January 11, 2013, in the presence of Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal. Special decoration was provided to Sri Moolavar Danvantri idol at 5 a.m. on Saturday.
The Danvantri family and devotees participated in a joint prayer for world peace.
The Lakshmi Narasimhar homam was performed which would help one get rid of Pithru Dosham and other doshams. The homam was conducted by vedic experts Rajappa Sivam, Rajivgandhi Sivam and Vivekananda Sivam.
In view of Ekadasi and Koodaaravalli, devotees were provided prasadam like theertham, tulasi and sweet pongal. Devotees took the blessings of Sri Muralidhara Swamigal. Later, they took part in the annadhanam at the Peedam.
