Mahalakshmi yaagam with pooja for 64 Bairavars
Walajapet: A Mahalakshmi yaagam was conducted with puja for 64 Bairavars on the occasion of Mithulashtami at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, in the presence of Peedam founder Kayilai Gnanaguru Dr Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
The Mahalakshmi yaagam began on November 28 for the betterment of mankind and to help the people overcome want and disease, with 11,000 Bilva fruits and 11,000 lotus flowers. On November 29, the Mahalakshmi yaagam continued for the second day, this time with puja for 64 Bairavars.
In the yaagam on November 28, Vellore Siddharmalai, Sengaanattham Bhagavathy Siddhar, IG Registration, Thiru Murugiah, IAS, and Vellore Mohan. Thiru Shamugam and a large number of devotees participated.
At the end of the programme, the guests and devotees participated in the annadhanam.
